Project Manager

ADRA Samoa is a humanitarian organisation, that seeks to employ suitably qualified individual to head a team of committed workers to deliver the “Mau i le To’o” project funded by USAID, for a period of 2 years. The project will work with individuals, households, and local communities, to address resilient agriculture, encourage financial literacy, reduce violence against women and children, develop economic growth and promote community climate risk management, to drive positive and suitable change.

Applicants must:

• Be ready to start immediately

• Hold a valid driver's license

• Hold a tertiary qualification

• Experience in relevant areas of work would be an advantage

• Be fluent in English and Samoan languages with good understanding of the Samoan culture

• Be able to communicate, and maintain positive working relationships with relevant stakeholders

• Ability to communicate and liaise with communities/ village councils

• Be able to write reports and adhere to expected timeframes

• Must have strength of character, and integrity to lead

• Be able to work with other project teams within a focused organization

• Have advanced computer literacy skills

• Delegate tasks and keep project on schedule

• Experience in writing/ developing proposals

• Organize and check all procurements

• Understand and ensure gender equality is mainstreamed

• Adhere to, and promote vision and mission of ADRA, to work without preference for religion, culture or race, “To serve with Compassion, Justice and Love”
